Katie Reigelsperger, CPhT, CBCS, CCMA, CEO & Instructor

Meet the KLR Team
 

Between retail and hospital pharmacy, Katie Reigelsperger has 12 years of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).  Beginning at CVS Pharmacy in 2008, Katie worked as the Lead Technician and Inventory Specialist for four years before moving into hospital pharmacy.  In the hospital, Katie was IV and Chemo trained and was then promoted to Pharmacy Supervisor and was in charge of the training program for 30+ technicians in a variety of different areas that included but were not limited to IV, Chemo, and Medication History roles.  Katie was in charge of the local high school internship program for the pharmacy, served as a member of the hospital’s HAZAMT team, and was a part of a program for the local high school that taught seniors about different health care fields prior to graduation.  After founding the school and successfully teaching this course for a year, Katie resigned from her supervisor position in October 2020 to teach at KLR Pharmacy Technician Training School full time. Katie received her CBCS (Certified Billing & Coding Specialist credentials in 2022 and is excited to begin offering an online CBCS course, coming August 2022!  Katie also recently became CPR/AED certified and completed Youth Suicide Prevention Training.

Allison received an Associates in Business Management from Ivy Tech and has over 20 years experience in providing administrative, marketing, and IT assistance in many versatile roles throughout her career.  She has been heavily involved in supporting KLR Pharmacy Technician Training School from the beginning and continues to handle a variety of administrative and business elements for the school.  Allision recently received her CBCS (Certified Billing & Coding Specialist) credentials and looks forward to assisting with all aspects of KLR Certified Billing & Coding Specialist School.  Allison also recently became CPR/AED certified and completed Youth Suicide Prevention Training.

Student Coach (Last Name I-Q)

Naomi is a Senior at Noblesville High School and will be graduating in December with an Academic Honors diploma.  She obtained her CNA as a Junior and recently completed the Pharmacy Technician course and received her Pharmacy Technician certification.  Naomi is also working on obtaining a Phlebotomy certification and will be doing an internship with Riverview Hospital.

Shawna has over 10 years experience in retail management, customer service, and accounting as well as many other versatile roles throughout her career.  She currently serves our students/partners as a Work Based Learning Manager where she facilitates internship programs and oversees partnerships with various schools and organizations.  Shawna enrolled in the KLR Pharmacy Technician Training School program and recently obtained her CPhT.  In her spare time, you can find Shawna relaxing with her family.
